Meet the founder behind PILLAR
I'm Fatima Salman Qazi, a Clinical Psychologist and PhD Candidate at the Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. With years of experience working closely with families of children with autism, I’ve seen how cultural myths, stigma, and limited awareness leave caregivers—especially mothers—feeling overwhelmed and alone.
Motivated by these challenges, I created PILLAR (Parents’ Initiative for Learning, Love, and Autism Resources) as part of my doctoral research. This platform brings together reliable information, therapy tools, caregiver guides, and culturally relevant resources tailored for families in Pakistan.
PILLAR reflects both my clinical insight and research, guided by my supervisors, Dr. Tehreem Arshad and Dr. Aisha Sitwat. My goal is to create a compassionate, informed space where caregivers find strength, support, and practical help.
Thank you for being here.
